Episodic Headache

Episodic headache lasting minutes to days. The pain is typically bilateral, pressing or tightening in quality and of mild to moderate intensity, and it does not worsen with routine physical activity.

The severity of a tension headache increases significantly with its frequency. Episodic headaches come and go over a prolonged period of time. The pain is usually throbbing and affects the front, top, or sides of the head. The pain is almost always present in throughout the day but the intensity of pain may vary. Episodic headaches do not affect vision, balance, or strength.
