clinical pathology is the branch of pathology dealing with the study of disease and disease processes by means of chemical, microscopic, and serologic examinations.The clinical pathology of the heart, lungs and abdomen was revolutionized. Clinical pathology supports the diagnosis of disease using laboratory testing of blood and other bodily fluids, tissues, and microscopic evaluation of individual cells. Clinical pathologists are healthcare providers with special training who often direct all of the special divisions of the lab. This may include the blood bank, clinicalchemistry and biology, toxicology, hematology, immunology and serology, and microbiology etc .
