Biography
Dr Ivy Shiue has received her PhD in medicine at University of Sydney. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in environment and health at Heriot-Watt University. Previously, she had postdoc experiences in Sweden and England. She started research works since 2006 and has been quite active in scientific fields lead-authoring over 50 scientific publications (please read via Google Scholar). A population science approach has brought her to further examine current social and individual systems and to uncover the hidden "bugs" for repair. She has also received several fellowships, awards, and honours, and served at editorial boards for a few scientific journals.
