Biography

Ioan-Bogdan ROBU (1986) is Assistant Professor (since 2011) with tenure (since 2014) of Accounting at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania, where he teaches Foundamentals of Acconting, Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance and Accounting for export-import of goods. He received his PhD in Accounting in 2013, and for moment he is also Post Doctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate in Statistics (under supervision of PhD Professor Emeritus Elisabeta JABA). He is member of: Association Francophone de Comptabilite (since 2014), American Accounting Association (since 2013), European Accounting Association (since 2013), European Auditing Research Network (since 2013), Romanian Society of Economic and Financial Analysis (since 2011), Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (since 2013). He publihed one book and he has more than 60 scientific papers (majority indexed in recognized internationally databases). In 2012 he received a prize from Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania for the best research paper in auditing. From 2009 to 2010 he was beneficiary of a scholarship at Université de Geneva (Switherland) and in 2012 the received a research internship at the University of Paris-Dauphin (France). He has participated in numerous conferences from Romania, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, UK and USA. He is also member of editorial board of several academic journals.
