Biography

Dr. Sonia M Raboni Graduated in Medicine at the Federal University of Paraná (1989), Master of Internal Medicine (1999) and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology, Federal University of Paraná (2006). Internship at University of California San Diego - Stein Research Institute, USA (2010) and Post Doctorate at the National Center of Microbiology, Molecular Virology at the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, Spain (2011). Currently is a research collaborator Carlos Chagas / Fiocruz institute and Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases of the Federal University of Paraná. Scholarship Productivity in Technological Development CNPq/Brazil. Guides master and doctoral students of the Post Graduate Programs in Internal Medicine and Health Sciences and the Post Graduate Program in Microbiology, Parasitology and Pathology. .

Dr. Sonia M Raboni Research intersts includes as experience in the area of medicine, with emphasis on Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, acting on the following topics: Clinical virology, AIDS, infection in immunocompromised patients, emergent viruses and laboratory diagnosis (virology)
