Biography

Dr. Rumana is Post doctoral researcher of Cleveland Clinic Foundation with specialization in Biochemistry. Her skill techniques involves cell culturing, protien isolation, data analysis, Bioassays, Western blotting, imaging software and many more and also experienced in identification & characterization of diseases pathogenesis. She is awarded with Shyama prasad Mukherjee award and Chhaya Ghosh Memorial award for her immense work.

Research Interest

Her research is focused on elucidating neuron death in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer?s Disease. She studies various aspects of disease etiology including neurotoxicity at cellular and molecular level, BH3-only proteins facilitated neuron death, miRNA regulation, AD epigenetics, neuroinflammation and aging.
