He is working as Assoc. Prof. Dr. in Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Forestry, Department of Wildlife Ecology & Management. His main research interests focus on Salmonids, fisheries, aquaculture, fish population and management. He has 25 years of teaching and research experience which is highlighted in different national and international journals. He has a number of publications, conferences and projects. He forms the editorial committee for different journals and plays the role of a reviewer too.
