Biography

Donald Mack, FAAFP, CMD, has had over 20 years of experience in private family medicine practice which included extensive work in geriatrics.  He has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatrics from the ABFM, is a Certified Medical Director from the AMDA, and has been accepted to take the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hospice and Palliative Medicine in the Fall of 2012.
In 2010, he joined Ohio State University, and has led geriatric education for medical students, and family medicine residents.  He is the Chair of the Geriatric Task Force for the revised OSU medical school curriculum, which will begin in the Fall of 2012.  His research interests are transitions and palliation in long term care, and also experiential teaching of geriatrics.
