    Natural Dyes from Plants for Smart Packaging Printing and Applications

    More and more people are becoming curious about the benefits of using natural dyes in textiles. Toxic and allergic reactions associated with synthetic dyes have prompted many countries to establish stringent environmental regulations. Natural dyes are more biodegradable and environmentally friendly than synthetic dyes. There are four types of natural dyes: those originating from plants, animals, minerals, and microorganisms. All natural fabrics can be dyed using natural dyes. They can also be used to color synthetic fabrics, according to a recent study. Natural dyes aren't just for textiles; they're used in food, medicine, handicrafts, and leather processing. Many of the plants that provide natural color are also used in traditional medicine.
