Biography

Zaid Abassi, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, has been a member of the Technion Faculty since 1996. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and D.Sc. in Medical Sciences from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in 1984, 1987, and 1989, respectively. He moved to the National Institutes of Health-NIH at Maryland USA (1990-1995) for a postdoctoral research. Since his recruitment by the Technion, Prof. Abassi is the Director of Laboratory for Kidney and Hypertension Research at the Department of Physiology -Faculty of Medicine, Technion.
