Biography
Professor Yola Moride is a globally recognized expert in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacovigilance and therapeutic risk management. With over 25 years of experience in the conduct of observational drug utilization and risk evaluation studies, she is a Fellow, and former president, of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE); she is currently Vice-President of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP). She has conducted many studies using administrative claims, electronic medical records, and primary data collection in the US, Europe, Canada. She is also an expert in the methods of signal detection and assessment, methods of evaluation of effectiveness of risk minimization and mitigation strategies.
