Biography
Yixiang Xu is an assistant professor in agricultural research station, Virginia State University, USA. She is awarded with a Ph.D degree in Food Science and Technology from University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 2005. She holds a bachelor of engineering degree in Food Engineering from Southwest Agriculture University in 1993 with an immediate M.S degree in Food Science and Technology from Southwest Agriculture University, Chongqing, China in 1996. She is also a active member of Institute of Food Technologists, American Association of Cereal Chemist International. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
