Biography
Yanli Chen is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Department of Chemical Engineering of Auburn University. She obtained a Master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from Auburn University, Auburn, AL, USA, a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Houston, Houston, TX, USA, a Master’s degree in Chemical Technology from Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering Northwest University, Xi’an, China. Her current research interests include Air Filtration, Systems Biology, Metabolic Engineering, Fermentation Technology, Sustainable Energy, Catalyst Development and Characterizaiton. Ms. Chen is a member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers, of American Chemical Society, of Society of Women Engineering, of American Filtration & Separations Society, of Golden Key International Honour Society. Ms. Chen is sitting in the editorial board of Fermentation Technology, and has been as a reviewer of International Journal of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. She has published 10 Journal papers and presented her research results on several international conferences such as AFS Annual Conference and AIChE Annual Meeting.
