Dr. Vadivel Ganapathyââ¬â¢s early research at the Medical College of Georgia focused on peptide transporters. It was a continuation of the graduate work he performed at the University of Madras, India. At MCG, his laboratory was involved in the cloning of two different peptide transporters, PEPT1 and PEPT2.
