Biography
 Steven J. Verhulst, Ph.D.,professor of statistics and research consulting, has been named director of the division at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. He succeeds Jerry A. Colliver, Ph.D., professor of statistics and research consulting, who remains on the faculty and continues as editor of the international journal "Teaching and Learning in Medicine." Verhulst joined SIU as a researcher and statistician in 1979 and became a faculty member in 1981.
