Biography
Dr. Roschelle Heuberger, PhD, RD has received her PhD in Nutrition from University of Wisconsin Madison, her post doctoral work in nutritional epidemiology from UW Medical School and her RD from UW Madison Hospital and Clinics in 2000. Currently, her position is listed as Professor of Nutrition, Director of Graduate Programs in Nutrition and Dietetics at Central Michigan University. Her research has included artificial nutrition and hydration at the end of life, alcohol and the older adult, and drug nutrient interactions and their impact on older adults health and nutritional well being. She is serving as an editorial member of the Journal of Nutrition in Geriatrics and Gerontology and several other journals. She has served as a reviewer for the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Experimental Gerontology, Archives of Geriatrics, Journal of Nutrition in Gerontology and Geriatrics and several other journals. She serves as an expert reviewer for Appetite, Gerontology, Journal of Nutrition and others. She has authored dozens of publications, research, review and lay and is a member of many professional organizations, including Gerontological Society of America, The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American Society of Nutrition, and American Academy of veterinary Nutrition
