Biography
Dr.Praveen P Balgir is a Professor and Head of the Biotechnology department in Punjabi University,Patiala.Praveen P. Balgir has got post-doctoral training in Moscow and has been visiting scientists at various Universities in U.K. and Israel.She completed her Phd in Life Sciences in 1983 and her area of specialization are Medical Biotechnology, Microbial and Industrial Biotechnology.  
Research Interest
Molecular Genetics:iRNA,Human Genomics and Genetic Engineering:Mammalian,S.pombe,Pediococci and E.coli cells.Pharmacogenetics,Proteomics: 2DGE,Bioinformatics.
