She is a professor in the department of food safety and food quality, Laboratory of Food Microbiology and Food Preservation (LFMFP), Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, Ghent University, Gent, Belgium. Her experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different events for diverse fields of study. Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
