Biography
Professor Ng graduated with first-class honours in medicine from the University of Sydney, prior to completing a PhD on the molecular biology of early coronary artery disease. He then completed his fellowship training at Stanford University Medical Centre.His research has garnered numerous awards and honours, including the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Young Investigator of the Year in 2001, the CJ Martin Fellowship from the National Health and Medical Research Council in 2004–2005, the Advanced E-Team Award from the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) in 2006–2007, and the RPA Research Medal in 2010.
