Biography
Man-Kee Lam is currently a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. His research interests are in microalgae cultivation, biomass, biodiesel production, heterogeneous catalyst development, life cycle energy assessment and social-economic impact of biofuel. Lam’s research has been published in several international peer-reviewed journals, such as Biotechnology Advances, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Review, Applied Energy, Fuel, Fuel Processing Technology, Energy Conversion and Management, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Bioresource Technology, Biofuels, Bioproducts & Biorefining, International Journal of Greenhouse Gases and Carbohydrate Polymers. He is currently served as an editorial board member of the Journal of Advanced Chemical Engineering. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering (Renewable Energy) from the Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014 under the supervision of Professor Dr. Lee Keat Teong. In his early carrier, he has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. He has taught several courses in both chemical and environmental engineering, including wastewater engineering, microbiology for environmental engineer, mass & energy balance, and transport phenomena.
