Biography
Lakshman Subbaraman is the Head of Biological Sciences at the Centre of Contact Lens Research. He graduated from the Elite School of Optometry in Chennai, India in 2002 and gained his MSc and PhD from the University of Waterloo in addition to conducting  post-doctoral training in the chemical engineering department at McMaster University. His research interests include contact lens deposition, drug delivery and dry eye. He is a two-time recipient of the American Optometric Foundation’s Ezell Fellowship. Lakshman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Member of the Association for Research in Vision & Ophthalmology.
