He is Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Hail, Hail, Saudi Arabia. His research interests lie in Biochemical Engineering, Polymer and Composites for Food and Biomedical Systems, Modelling of Physical/Biophysical Systems. He is the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is a Member in ABET Committee Member at the Department of Chemical Engineering (JUST) , Supervised Engineering Training Program for Chemical Engineers at J.U.S.T
