Biography
Dr. Jareen Meinzen-Derr is awarded PhD from University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati in 2006. She holds a MPH from Univeristy of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, AL in 1997. Dr. Meinzen-Derr has a prolific publication background in the areas of health outcomes and clinical care for children who are deaf / hard of hearing and developmental disabilities. She is focused specifically on understanding the mechanisms behind language and functional outcomes in the subset of children with hearing loss who also have an additional developmental disability. Meinzen-Derr collaborates on clinical research regarding premature infants.
