Biography
Prof Francesco Fantin is interested in geriatric research since 2001. In particular, in collaboration with Prof. Mauro Zamboni from the Department of Geriatric Medicine of the University of Verona, He was involved in a longitudinal study (ABC Verona Study) of the relationship between body composition and disability in the elderly. This longitudinal study started in Verona in 1997 with a protocol project similar to that of Tamara Harris of NIH, NIA, Bethesda. In particular, its main areas of scientific interest are Geriatrics and Gerontology, Relationships between aging and body composition.
