Biography
Dr Cheng-Ting Chien is a Distinguished Research Fellow and the Deputy Director of Institute of Molecular Biology, and the coordinator of Neuroscience Program of Academia Sinica and Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program of Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) of Academia Sinica. His research has a long-term interest in neural development, using Drosophila sensory neurons as a model systems. His early studies focused on cell fate specification regulated by transcriptional factors, signalling pathways and protein degradation.
