Biography
He is an associate professor in the department of food science and nutrition, Iowa State University, USA. He has awarded with a Ph.D degree in Food Science, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2002. His experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different events for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.

Food safety and biosecurity. Biodefense and emerging infectious diseases in relation to foods. Rapid molecular detection of foodborne pathogens and food spoilage organisms. Flow cytometry and other single cell analytical methods. Biomimetics. Multicomponent antimicrobial systems for use in foods, on food contact surfaces or in environmental applications. Nanotechology-based approaches for detection and control.
