Biography
Dr. Boaz Kahana is professor of psychology and serves on the graduate as well as undergraduate faculty of CSU. Dr. Kahana joined the department of psychology in 1984 and served as chair from 1984-1987. Dr. Kahana has published extensively in the fields of mental health and clinical psychology of aging, trauma survivorship (focusing on both cancer survivors and Holocaust survivors), and on stress, coping and health. His recent publications deal with planning for end of life care, successful aging among the chronically ill, the mental health of elderly cancer survivors, and late life adaptation of Holocaust survivors.
