Biography
Professor Anthony E Beezer BA, MSc, PhD, DSc, Cchem., FRSC has been a Lecturer then Senior Lecturer, Chelsea College, University of London.He then became a Reader then Professor of Biophysical Chemistry, RHBNC, University of London Head of Department of Chemistry, followed by Professor of Biophysical Chemistry and Head of Department,University of Kent. He is now Professor of Biophysical Chemistry, University of Greenwich. In 1994, Professor Beezer was awarded the Applied Thermodynamics Award by the Swiss Society for Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry and in 1997, the JJ Christensen Award for Innovation in Calorimetry at the (US) Calorimetry Conference.The International Society for Biological Calorimetry awarded him the Lavoisier Medal in 1999. He is Chairman, (US) Calorimetry Conference Committee on Standards and Reference Materials and a member of theIUPAC Physical Chemistry Commission Working Party on Standards and Reference Materials in Calorimetry.   He has published two books and refereed 200 papers
Research Interest
  His  research interests are thermodynamics, calorimetry, biophysical chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, kinetics and long-term stability testing.
