Alvin E. Holliman
Biography
Alvin Holliman holds a Doctorate in Management from the University of Maryland, University College, a Masters in Management for the Claremont Graduate School, and a BA in Business Administration from CSU Fullerton. Teaching experience includes a Lecturer in the MPA and MBA programs for CSU San Bernardino since 1999; Southwest Baptist University MBA program as a full-time Associate Professor for two complete academic years from 2010 to 2012; Associate Professor with Marymount California University in the Business and Economics Department from 2012 to 2015; and Assistant Professor with Lyon College from 2015 to present. Dr. Holliman enjoyed a long management career in city government, banking, and the non-profit sectors. He has extensive experience in all course modalities, including face-to-face, fully online, and hybrid/blended. Teaching areas include organizational behavior, management, public administration, and entrepreneurship. Research activity involves performance measurement, equity theory, and the effect of Hispanic culture in municipal government.
