Biography
Alan B. Stevens, PhD, holds the Vernon D. Holleman-Lewis M. Rampy Centennial Chair in Gerontology at Baylor Scott & White Health and is the vice chair for research for the Department of Medicine. Dr. Stevens is a professor of Medicine and Public Health at the Texas A&M Health Science Center. He serves as the director of the Center for Applied Health Research (CAHR), which is administratively located in the Baylor Scott & White Research Institute. CAHR conducts and facilitates collaborative research across a number of health topics
Research Interest
One of my research goals is to promote collaborative research across six translational and outcomes research units. Additionally, my research goals are to develop and implement evidence based clinical interventions for older adults and their caregivers.
