Biography

Dr Yuanyuan Li has received her PhD from Brigham Young University during the period of 2004 and 2010 under supervision of Professor Milton Lee. Dr Li’s doctoral research was in the field of separation science and her dissertation was focused on monolithic column development for separation of both small and large molecules. After graduation, Dr. Li worked as an industry post-doctoral researcher with Dr. Jack Henion at Advion BioServices (acquired by Quintiles in 2011), where she gained further expertise in Mass Spectrometry and application of LC-MS/MS in Bioanalysis. Her research has included CE for proteins, HPLC for small and large molecules, and LC-MS/MS method development and validation for biological sample analysis. Dr. Li has authored nine research articles/book chapter during her doctoral and post-doctoral period. Currently Dr. Yuanyuan Li is working as a Senior Scientist at AbbVie Inc. In her current position, various analytical techniques are utilized to provide analytical research in the area of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) process development and manufacture for clinical-phase supply.

Research Interest

Her research has included CE for proteins, HPLC for small and large molecules, and LC-MS/MS method development and validation for biological sample analysis.
