Hamidreza Mohammadi is an assistant professor in the Department of Toxicology and Pharmacology at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences (MAZUMS) (2014 to date). He has also been Assistant Professor in the Department of clinical toxicology in Baharlou hospital at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) (20011-2014). He is currently director of Department of Toxicology and Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences. He has passed an advanced course study at the Polymer Therapeutics Laboratory, Medicinal Chemistry Unit, Centro de Investigación príncipe Felipe (CIPF), Spain. In 2011, he earned his PhD degree in toxicology and pharmacology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in collaboration with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS) where he conducted his experimental studies on preclinical trial of PMC16 nanoparticle, a magnetic magnesium nanocarrier, for treatment of organophosphate acute poisoning. He is a member of National Elites Foundation of Iran. He has published papers in the fields of nanotoxicology and use of nano materials for treatment of poisoning. He served as a reviewer of peer reviewed journals and referee for conferences in the area of nano science. He was invited as a speaker to several conferences in the nanotoxicology and nanotechnologies field.
