Abstract:

Rapid urbanization and industrial growth have increased air pollution levels in many developing cities, posing major risks to human health. This study examines the relationship between airborne pollutants and respiratory diseases among urban populations. The research evaluates pollution sources, exposure risks, and preventive public health measures. Results demonstrate that stricter environmental regulations, green urban planning, and public awareness programs can significantly reduce pollution-related health burdens. The study emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to achieving healthier and more sustainable urban environments
