Abstract:

This work materializes the new concepts of a green economy in Morocco applied to the treatment and recycling of plants of ecological interest such as avocado, in order to extract industrial oil and to recycle livestock waste. The present study proposes an innovative methodology for the extraction of avocado oils by mainly adopting an optimal pre-drying of the mesocarp and by adapting the operating parameters of olive oil extraction machines to treat the avocado oil. The proposed approach produces interesting results in terms of quality and productivity. Indeed during this study on the valorization of Moroccan fruits, several treatment schemes that allow extracting avocado oil were proposed: process after drying of the avocado and extraction by solvent of the hexane, extraction after lyophilization and extraction by pressure etc. Avocado oil after purification can then be used in cosmetics or in the manufacture of certain medicines; also it can be used for the production of avocado soap rich in protein and for the extraction of glycerin. Once the product is exhausted is recycled as a feed supplement for livestock.
