Abstract:

Aggressive periodontitis is recognized as multifactorial disease, the direct triggering factor of which is the bacterial component incompatible with periodontal health; these clinical manifestations are often followed by the premature loss of teeth. This aesthetic and functional damage often leads patients to a prosthetic treatment by a removable partial denture. However, the use of this type of prosthesis is not without consequences on the balance of the buccal ecosystem. The aim of our work is to describe the composition of the sub-gingival flora before and after insertion of a removable partial prosthesis in patients suffering from an aggressive periodontal. In conclusion, the comparison of the results between T0 and T1 revealed a greater increase in the density of Gram positive bacteria compared to that of Gram negative bacteria and an increase in the frequency of sites with a high density. belgacemsamou@yahoo.fr
