Abstract:

Chronic inflammation of the salivary gland constitutes 3-24% of salivary gland diseases. Despite of numerous clinical researches, the treatment of salivary glands is still a challenge because of unknown ethiology. This type of diseases occurs when hormonal metobolism is impaired. Chronic sialodenites in pediatric patients could be recognized as result of inadequate of epidemic sialodenites. Cell death or weakening of blood flow in salivary gland can be the reason for this disease. While researching in 40 patients, both the wall of blood and spit was destroyed. Material Methods: The patients were educated in two groups. The main group consisted of 30 patients, 15 of them were treated intra gland, other 15 were treated by fiziology serum intravenously injection or by blood ozone therapy. The control group patients were treated by simple salivary gland treatments. During ozone therapy the active molecules with elements of the blood oxygenation was studied based on LPO. Ozone was used intravenously and intra gland for the patients with chronic sialodenitis. In the end, the relapse wasn?t detected in the patients who were treated by ozone therapy. In 5 patients who were treated with ozone therapy after 2years relapse was detected, the patient felt uncomfortable in salivary gland, so ozone therapy was injected again. After ozone therapy side effects did not occurred.

Biography :

Sabrin Ali Mohammed Azim is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. She has graduated from Dentistry Faculty, Azerbaijan Medical University in 2010. She has participated in many university competitions as: Student Scientific Society, Dentistry Faculty 2007, 2009 and 2010. In 2012, she finished her Postgraduate program and became a Specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery. At the moment she is doing her PhD program in oral and maxillofacial department in Azerbaijan Medical University and is studying the quality of life in patients after cleft palate surgery.
