Abstract:

Bonding between dissimilar materials through chemical reaction of their atoms and molecules. Adhesion: Forces or energies between atoms or molecules at an interface film of saliva between the soft tissue and the denture based that hold phase together. The creation of a strong, durable, and bonded interface with enamel or dentin provides importantbenefits. It significantly protects the restoration?s interface against penetration of bacteria that may cause secondary caries. It reduces the need for retentive areas in the preparation that would require removal of sound tooth structure.
