Abstract:

Introduction; The administration of local anesthetic agent is a safe procedure, yet various localized, distant and systemic complications have been reported. Given that the two most common nerve blocks in Jaws are PSA and IANB, therefore, we stand to describe rare complications of these two methods. Material and methods: We studied here 31 articles in which 25 were case report and 6 were both case report and review of literature that were published from 1976 to 2013. Conclusion: Because Complications of dental anesthesia are accidental and unavoidable, It need to be control and prevented; and this control and prevention requires knowing rare complications.
