Forensic pathology plays a vital role in determining the cause and manner of death while providing scientifically reliable ev idence for criminal investigations and public health surveillance. This presentation reviews recent advances in postmortem imaging, minimally invasive autopsy techniques, forensic toxicology, and molecular pathology. High-resolution CT, MRI, and digital autopsy technologies are enhancing diagnostic accuracy and preserving valuable forensic evidence.
The session highlights innovations in trauma assessment, sudden unexpected death investigation, and postmortem bio marker analysis that improve medico-legal decision-making. Emerging applications of artificial intelligence and digital pa thology are supporting forensic experts in interpreting complex cases while improving the efficiency of forensic laboratories. Future research focuses on integrating precision medicine and advanced imaging into routine forensic practice.
