Abstract:

The Argentina Republic, located at the southern end of the continent, with an area of 2,780,000 km2, a population of 43 million and a hope of average life of 76 years, has 55,000 dentists currently practicing professional faculty of Dentistry of the National University of La Plata, accredited with best qualities of teaching country and abroad level (MERCOSUR). It has a Dental Hospital of last generation with 200 dental chairs, 30 radiovisiographs, health care for the disabled patients and an Institute Research in Higher Education among others. Our goal in this presentation is to illustrate part of the dental clinic in order to know something of the variety of cases seen in our own country. Likewise we want to emphasize that the usual dental clinic is not only the tooth itself, but dentistry goes incumbent upon us and finds a several teeth. This includes additional evaluation, examination, experience and suspicion to arrive the best treatment in our patients. Not only illustrate cases of intraoral resolution (rehabilitation, diagnostic Imaging) queries but extra-oral findings (Dentistry Dermatological) disclose clinical cases in our daily professional practice is an excellent opportunity to interact in an interdisciplinary way with professional colleagues from all over the world.

Raffaeli Nicolas is a Teacher at Facultad de Odontologia, Universidad Nacional de La Plata. He has published papers in reputed journals.
