Abstract:

Full arch implant supported fixed denture rehabilitation has become a common practice among dental practices in the United States. These cases are very complex and require careful prosthetic and surgical planning. While these types of restorations can drastically change the quality of life for many patients; and are not without complications. Implant failure and prosthetic failures can do happen. The ability to remove the prosthesis on a daily basis can reduce the likelyhood of peri-implantitis. In addition, using materials and prosthetic deisgns that allow for prosthesis repair can allow patients to built in safe guard against costly failures. The Conus concept allows for ridged implant supported prosthetics with the cleansability of conventional dentures. chrisconnorsdmd@gmail.com
