Abstract:

Posterior maxilla usually is a hindrance for placing dental implants due to pneumatization and minimal availability of bone due to resorption process which take place after extraction of teeth. Maxillary Sinus augmentation is a predictable treatment modality by which we can create space for placing implants. But during Sinus augmentation by lateral window technique different complications arise such as membrane perforation, Septa, bleeding etc. The purpose of this lecture is to show how such complications can be treated when encountered.
