Abstract:

Recent technology in high throughput technology in genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics yields huge amounts of datasets that requires high quality analysis and fast processing. For clinical use, the requirements for quality and speed are higher than those needed for research use. In this talk, we will introduce the modern components of the bioinformatics infrastructure necessary to process the big bioinformatics data. We will introduce the required computational stack, including local infrastructure and cloud computing. We also have the analytical workflows management system which provides a solution to the sophisticated analysis and reproducibility of results. We will also address the additional clinical needs related to the sample management and tracking. mabouelhoda@yahoo.com
