Abstract:
Forest ecosystems play a critical role in maintaining biodiversity and supporting climate regulation. This study examines the contribution of indigenous communities to forest conservation through traditional ecological knowledge and sustainable resource management practices. Findings suggest that integrating indigenous conservation methods with modern environmental policies strengthens biodiversity protection and ecosystem resilience. The research advocates for inclusive conservation strategies that recognize local community participation in environmental governance.
