The presence of antibodies, particularly anti-Ro and anti-La antibodies, holds a significant role as a prognostic marker for the development of cardiac neonatal lupus erythematosus. Early detection through maternal antibody testing and fetal echocardiography offers valuable insights into the risk of cardiac complications, enabling timely interventions and improved outcomes. With a collaborative approach involving various medical specialists, mothers and healthcare teams can work together to manage the challenges posed by cardiac NLE, ensuring the best possible care for both mother and baby.
