Artificial Intelligence (AI) is known to be one of the emerging technologies which try to simulate human reasoning in AI systems. The term artificial intelligence was invented in the year 1950 by John McCarthy. According to the study of statista, the global AI market is set to grow up to 54% every single year. It provides a computer program the ability to think and learn on its own way. AI is a simulation of human intelligence into machines to do things that we would normally rely on humans. Since last 50 years machines has become a lot smarter. AI once was a radial concept among computer scientist, now it has become more practical applications in our day-to-day lives. Technologies related to AI now play a vital role in marketing, data analysis, finance, health care and much more. It is so complicated in the behavior. It holds a complex mixture of mathematics, computer science and other complicated methodologies of sciences. These complex programming enables the machine to perform the critical operations in an easy way also it can able to resemble the same job of the human being with better performance than human beings. AI is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines that makes it significant. Ride-sharing, mobile banking to financial institutions fraud prevention everything is functioning smoothly because of AI. There is no doubt in giving a statement that technology is an essential part of the development and growth of humans. Everything in excess use is dangerous and so is the case with artificial intelligence.

Advantages of AI

The advantages of artificial intelligence are enormous which includes such as reduction in human error or zero human error; takes risks instead of humans or zero risks; available 24 × 7; helping in repetitive jobs; digital assistance; faster decisions or rational decision maker or unbiased decisions; daily applications; new inventions; round-the-clock availability; AI machines have no emotions or selfless with no breaks; applications in health care or medical industry; accurate decision making; enhance creative tasks; predictive maintenance; improvement in decision making at both production and business levels, increase in productivity and quality in production, control and optimization of productive processes and production lines, and reduces time spent on data analysis.

Zero human error: Human error phrase was born as because humans make mistakes from time to time. If computers are programmed properly, computer does not make mistakes. With AI technology, the decisions are taken from the previously gathered information applying a certain set of algorithms. By this way errors are reduced and chance of giving accurate results are more. For example in case of weather forecasting, using AI they have reduced the majority of human error.

Takes risks instead of humans: This is known to be the biggest advantage of using AI technology. By developing an AI robot, risks and limitations of humans can be overcome. These robots can be used in such situations where intervention can be dangerous or hazardous.

Available 24 × 7: using AI technology, one can make machines to work 24 × 7 without any breaks, as generally an average human will work for 4-6 hours a day excluding breaks. This advantage would be more beneficial in case of educational institutes and helpline centers.

Helping in repetitive jobs: Humans in their day-to-day life they would be performing many repetitive works like verifying certain documents for errors and many more things which can be overcome by using artificial intelligence which can productively automate these mundane tasks and can even remove “boring” tasks for humans and free them up to be increasingly creative. For example in banks using of AI cognitive automation technology the person can speed up the process of verifying the documents by which both the customers and the owner will be benefited.

Applications in health care or medical industry: There is wide application present in case with medical field as it has been said that time and tide waits for none. This is the best thing that artificial intelligence has done to humans. With the help of artificial machine intelligence doctors assess patients and their health risks which would help to educate the machine about the side effects of various medicines. Medical professionals are trained with artificial surgery simulators in these days. These applications help in detecting and monitoring neurological disorders and stimulate the brain functions. Also helps in radiosurgery which is used to operate tumors and help in the operation without damaging the surrounding tissues.
