Biography
Yinghua Yang is a research scientist in Department of Oncology and Diagnostic Science, University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He received his PhD degree in Cell Biology in 2003 from Peking Union Medical School, China. He became a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmacology & Pharmacy at the Hong Kong University. He continued his postdoctoral training in the Department of Microbiology & immunology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, USA. Dr. Yang’s research interests are focused on regulation of angiogenesis and use of targeted drugs/agents/nanoparticlesin cancer and arthritis treatment and diagnosis. He has published over 30 research articles in peer reviewed journals and was an author of 2 book chapters. He has over 10 years of teaching experience in Molecular Biology and Genetics. He is an Ad hoc reviewer for several international journals in the area of Pharmacology and experimental therapeutics. He is member of American Association for Cancer Research.

Tumor angiogenesis, Cancer Metastasis, Tumor immunology, Targeted Cancer Therapies.
