Biography
I obtained a PhD with Distinctionin Computer Engineering from The University of Western Australia in 2011. Ihave developed efficient algorithms for human recognition from their 2D and 3D ear and face images and currently applying themaddressing critical medical and dental challenges. I have a total of 26 published scholarly articles that attracted 132citations (h-index of 7)and four public media releases.Currently I am working in UWA School of Dentistry leading a number of multi-disciplinary research projects in the area of Image-guided Orthodontic and Maxillofacial Surgery. I have securedfour locally and two nationally competitive research grants.Ialso served as Associate Editor of three journals, Technical Committee Member for 12 conferences, Reviewer of 12 journals and 17 conferences, and Member of seven professional bodies.

Computer Vision with 2D and 3D still and video image processing, Computer Graphics, Computer and Communication Networking and Robotics.
