Dr. Mohamed Saafiis an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, UK. He obtained his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama 2001. Before joining the University of Strathclyde, he was an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Transportation Infrastructure Safety and Security at Alabama A&M University, USA then an Associate Professor at North Dakota State University,
Research Interest
Dr. Saafi’ research interests include the development of nanotechnology-based material and sensing systems for civil engineering applications, nano-biocomposites for renewable energy and nano-engineered structures for sustainable civil infrastructures.
