Biography

Dr. Meng Zhong works as a R&D senior scientist at PharmaForce Inc., a subsidiary of Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Daiichi Sankyo company. She received his BSc degree in Chemistry from Peking University, China and her Ph.D degree in Chemistry from University of Kentucky. She studied the folding and assembling of drug efflux pump AcrAB-TolC and molecular chaperone SurA as an approach for combating bacterial multidrug resistance. Post graduation, Dr. Zhong worked as R&D scientist at Summit Biosciences and PharmaForce, Inc, focusing on the formulation development and analytical method development. Multiple injectable and nasal spray products covering a broad range of indications that she developed have received FDA approval. She has published 13 research papers on the top notch journals. She also served as reviewer for multiple journals for more than 70 times in pharmaceutical science and bioanalytical field.
